Scan limitations — please read
- A public scan cannot guarantee detection of all malware and cannot inspect private server files, databases or admin areas without authorised access.
- Malware that serves clean pages to scanners, or only to some visitors, may not be seen.
- Findings are indicators with a confidence level, not proof of compromise. Some legitimate scripts can look suspicious.
- “No known issues detected by this scan” does not mean your site is clean. SiteShield does not replace a full server-side security audit or professional incident response.
