Data Deletion Instructions

How to remove your data from Subsly

Privacy First: Subsly stores all subscription data locally on your device by default. No bank accounts or external financial systems are ever connected. You have full ownership of your data at all times.

How Your Data Is Stored

Subsly is built with a local-first architecture. All subscription entries, categories, reminders, and spending records you create are stored on your Android device. Only anonymized crash reports and app analytics may be sent to our servers.

Option 1: Delete All Data From Your Device

To delete all locally stored Subsly data:

  1. Open Settings on your Android device
  2. Go to Apps (or Application Manager)
  3. Find and tap Subsly
  4. Tap Storage
  5. Tap Clear Data — this permanently deletes all local subscription data
  6. Optionally, tap Uninstall to remove the app entirely

This action is permanent and cannot be undone. All your subscription records, categories, and reminders will be permanently deleted from your device.

Option 2: Delete Data In-App

To delete individual subscriptions or all data from within the app:

  1. Open the Subsly app
  2. To delete a single subscription: swipe left on any entry or tap the delete icon
  3. To delete all data: go to Settings → Data Management → Delete All Data
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted
